Finding the right position to stand when flying your drone can make the difference between a great aerial video and a crashed drone.  Here are a few quick tips on finding the perfect location to make it easy to see your drone and any obstacles that may hinder your flight.

    The human eye has difficulty determining the distance of an object, primarily because the “base line” (for triangulation), the distance between the eyes, is only a few inches in length. However, the eye is very good at determining angle. Thus, having a drone to the left of the face of a cliff (as mentioned in the video) means that the angular distance, and thus the absolute distance, can be more easily determined by the human eye.
