Support for UK Drone Startups

Free business support and research grants are open for applications from start-ups innovating in drones or other autonomous systems. The Westcott Business Incubation Centre (BIC) is part of the Space Cluster on the Westcott Venture Park near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The BIC is run by the Satellite Applications Catapult, a technology and innovation company working to grow the UK space sector by supporting innovation and commercialisation of new ideas.

Applications for support are welcome from new UK businesses working in the areas of 5G communications, space propulsion, or drones/autonomous systems and include free workspace at the BIC, opportunities for 1:1 meetings with business and technical experts, tailored support packages, investor pitch training, and introductions to relevant networks. In addition, businesses can apply for £5,000 ERDF research grants.

To find out more about the opportunity and to apply, visit the BIC website (https://wbic.org.uk/) and get in touch with to discuss your application.
