Our friends at Aerobo (formerly AeroCine) just posted some behind the scenes footage of one of their latest projects–the precision flying and videography for a bit of performance art called “Paint the Sky” where they used colored smoke canisters strapped to drones in the strong winds off the Jersey Shore to make a striking visual spectacle. Even with the inherent stability of the DJI platform you can imagine the challenge of getting 4 drones (3 smokers, 1 camera rig) on target and on time to produce the desired effect.
