Hobbico Launches 1st Community RC Video Channel

No more scouring the web for videos to feed your RC appetite! Hobbico’s new KeepItRC video magazine will do the job in one stop – whether you’re into radio control cars, trucks, boats, planes, helicopters or drones – and deliver fresh content in eight different categories every week to support your habit. Bonus: the channel will post select user-submitted videos from stunts to stories so you can see what other RCers are doing or even show off your own RC exploits to the world.

Videos in the inaugural edition include a fast and furious snow race between two Cajun Commander airboats, a visit to Tim Lampe’s RC hobby hangout, a conversation with top RC gun Frank Noll, a time-lapse assembly demo for one of the newest smartphone-controlled camera drones, and more. All were produced in Hobbico’s professional in-house studio in collaboration with the company’s well-known RC hobbyists.

“Until now, there has been no central source of videos for RCers. Individual enthusiasts post on YouTube or their own blogs, but only sporadically and only in their personal area of RC interest,” said Jim Brown, Hobbico Vice President of Proprietary Marketing and Advertising. “KeepItRC provides the first video home base to explore the entire world of RC, learn from each other, and find new information and inspiration in one place every single week.”

The channel is divided into eight playlists covering both the fun and the fundamentals of the RC universe. Segments include:

  • Spotlight featuring the coolest gear, best rides and finest RC fliers
  • Performance highlighting RC vehicles in action
  • RC Antics showcasing stunts, pranks and extreme RC adventures
  • My RC Life profiling the prowess of RC hobbyists around the globe
  • How-To’s providing nuts-and-bolts solutions for your toughest RC challenges
  • Road Noise in-car discussions with star pilots and officials on the way to RC events
  • RC Digs offering behind-the-scenes tours of hobbyists’ private RC workshops
  • Instant RC instructional videos to help RCers jumpstart assembly of different models

It’s all there at www.keepitrc.com – your new video window to everything RC.
